Users of AirPods Pro (gen 2 and 3), as well as users of the Meta Ai Glasses, can use the live translation feature to have foreign languages translated in almost real time.
I have tried it, and it works well, as long as you get used to the couple of second delay between the spoken content and translation.

Great tip. I have been using my iPhone on a tripod and the app Seeing AI by Microsoft to read the closed captions. Works well except that it times out if there are long periods without captions. Then I just tap the READ button to begin again.
